This book is astounding in how much it covers. The poses/breathing practices/gestures and locks are covered comprehensively; from the actual practices, to the benefits (on ALL levels), contraindications etc. As a Satyananda Yoga teacher, I have watched this book develop over many years, and it has gradually built itself up into a brilliant adjunct to a yoga practice. Virtually all my regular students have a copy and refer to it constantly. Whether you are of the Satyananda lineage or not, this is an invaluable reference book and an inspirational read.
