About the Author:

Dr. L. Mahadevan is a Post-graduate, MD Ayurvedic Medical Doctorate (Ayurveda Vachaspathi). He studied in his clinic in the traditional manner for 4 years and was exposed to both classical and Rasa (Ayurvedic alchemy) styles of treatment. He conducted classes for Ayurvedic medical students in the hospital and given lectures and seminars in many parts of Tamilnadu.

He belongs to a traditional Ayurvedic Family. His grandfather, Dr. Y. Mahadeva Iyer, was a renowned Sanskrit and Vedic scholar and a successful Ayurvedic physician.  He established a reputed Ayurvedic hospital (Sri Sarada Ayurvedic Hospital) at Kanyakumari District, the land’s end of India.
