In modern era stress, pollution, unhealthy diet, hectic life style etc., factors have adverse effects on body and spirit. Ayurveda is the ancient health care system aimed at energetically was passed down from God Brahma to his angels and finally to human. The values of Ayurveda have been recognized for last 5000 years and it is the oldest healing science.

The principal aspects of Ayurvedic treatments are diet, medication and proper care to eliminate Doshas, known as the Tridoshas. Vata, Pitta and Kapha. Vata consists of two elements of the universe, namely, air and ether (Teja) and Kapha-the combination of ether and water. According to this theory the balance of these is unhealthy (Rog). Ayurveda tries to determine which of the three Doshas is responsible for the ill health. Under the eight heads, simple one remedy has been described which are free from any side effect. The book is a humble effort to explain Nature's science and its technology in a simple way from a layman's angle.
