A Dictionary of Medicinal Plant

The dictionay includrs brief description of medicinal herbs used in alternative systems of healing. The plants have been arranged alphabetically and families names parts used, chemistry and medicinal use discussed. Formulations prepared form medicine have been included. The salient feature of the dictionary is a brief account of pharmacological studies on plants extracts and constituents isolated from them. Arminder Singh Sandhu completed his postgradiate studies in Botany form Punjab University chandigarh. At present he is working as Medicial Plant Garden incharge in department of Natural Products National Institute of Pharmaceutical education and research Mohali.Amrit Pal Singh received a Bachelor of Ayurvedic medicine and surgery degree from Dyanand Ayurvedic college Jalandhar and postgraduate degree in alternative medicine from Indian board of alternative medicines Calcutta.
