Tamo Mibang is the ProVice Chancellor and former head of the department of Tribal Studies, Arunachal University. He also holds the post of Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences in the same University. He obtained his Master`s Degree in History from Gauhati University in 1977 and Ph.D. from dibrugarh University in 1988.
