If making money, finding a lover, winning and award, or reaching a goal is a good reason to be happy then meditation certainly seems like on good reason, Ironically, happiness through medition is the best reason of all since it directs us to the source of happiness itself-the inner self. Happiness that has no good reason is the most stable happiness which cannot be destroyed when the outer world cause is removed.
