Sri Aurobindo has developed an original system of the Vedanta called Integral Advaitism. This book gives a systematic, thorough and authentic exposition of his thought. The fundamental and living issues, namely, the concept of the Absolute, the supermind, theory of creation, conception of Ignorance, doctrine of Karma and Rebirth, theory of evolution and destiny of man etc., have been discussed in a systematic and critical way and with great clarity, thoroughness and depth. Sri Aurobindo`s system has also been compared with some Indian and Western systems of philosophy in an unbiased and objective way.
