The term 'Sanskrit' as used now means ' well done' or 'rectified'. The Vedas, the universally accepted first scripture of humanity were written in this language. Panini, the great grammarian endowed this language with his famous grammar in the 7th century BC.

 

Without the knowledge of Sanskrit it is not possible to appreciate Indian culture and ideals treasured in its great epics. This book is a valuable guide to learn the rudiments of Sanskrit language easily. It consists of four parts, dealing with alphabets, Nouns, Roots and verbs and names of articles in daily use, stories, essays, conversations, moral passages, translations and glossary.

 

This book offers the easiest way to learn, read, write, speak and converse Sanskrit through the medium of English.

I am a student in bangalore. even i have this same in library of my school, but in the kannada version, sanskrit the mother of all languages which is ancient and it's the language of the Gods and
Godesses so i have been keen in studying this language....
