Legends in the Life Divine

In The Life Divine, Sri Aurobindo cites passages from the scriptures at the head of each chapter. An attempt is made in these pages to explain each citation contextually so as to help the reader to follow the argument with more understanding.

Appended to the volume are a few talks of the author on The Life Divine, Vol.II. They are in continuation of his talks on the first Volume which have been issued separately. Though they cover only the first four or five chapters, they are included for the help they offer in the study of the work.
