Scientists of the last country provided the basis for fission and fusion bombs. And the technocrats made the buttons that fire missiles with warheads. Now it is time for the human society - scientists, technocrats et al - to make amends. For, we have everything to lose including the life forms on this planet. Preventing Wars And Terrorism is a study of complex dynamic systems provides an explanation for the rise and fall of civilizations, of war and peace, social upheavals and violence in the name of country, caste, creed, colour....And if the theory is right we may soon have a technology that ends wars forever. The book is an interdisciplinary journey in search of a science of history and a technology for peace.

About the Author:

After taking a degree in Physics, K. P. Madhu shifted his attention to Life Sciences with the hope of specialising in Neurosciences. Circumstances pushed him to earn a living, first, by journalism and then, by television. He has produced more than 100 programmes including 16 episodes of the popular science serial, Turning Point. His other works include Structure of Science, Video for Education and Development and Musings on Media.
