This is theFirst English Translation of Volume One of the sixteen volumes of Dhavala, one of the most sacred and ancient canons of jainism. satkhandagama is the first definitive formulation of the "Theory of Karma"handed over to generations of ascetics by word of mouth and written for the first time more than two thousand years ago.
