About the Author:------------------For nearly five decades or so tha first author, Prof. P.H.Kulkarni happens to be an Ayurveda Guru and has been going thorugh a number of exam papers, research papers, books and theses on plants. However neither there has been any standardized publication on this subject as per the Ayurvedic syllabus nor the few available are full of the syllabus.Dr. Shahida Ansari being an ethnoarhaeologist by profession has made her mark in Ayurveda with the publication of the ayurvedic plant encyclopedia which consists of a book on multilingual ayurvedic plant dictionary and a CD_ROM on ayurvedic plants.
