The new president assumed office on 20-1-2009. I analyzed the time of swearing in ceremony with the help of planets. It is no wonder to me that the new president had to redo the oath of office, as the time chosen was extremely inauspicious. The position of the moon in the eighth house, the tail rising sign, Aries, the combust of mars, the position of the sun in the tenth house, the Vishti Karanam, Lada dosham for the star, Ganda Nithya Yogam are never suitable for enthronement. I believe that strong desire and prayer of the Americans made a slip of the tongue for the president and therefore a fresh take of oath on the next day followed. The tail rising sign along with the moon in the 8th house made an immediate block and this is but obviously a blessing in disguise.

I have approximately calculated the time of events and perceptible changes in the socio economic front. Up to the end of March 2009, Mercury is ruling the country. This period will create some sort of misunderstanding among the administrative machineries and the resignation of some important person in the government. The threat of enemies is another problem. But, this will be resolved with the advices of veteran and spiritual people. The president may approach the experienced persons for their advice to tackle the situation. The utilization of funds in reserve and the diversion of funds earmarked for the defense purpose and imposing additional tax to cope with the stringency will be done during the period. The typhoon and flood, the natural calamities may hit in the north- east part. These difficulties will continue up to the end of July 2009. But, the government will successfully come out of the crisis.

Thereafter, up to March 2010, the period will be extremely good for the country. The people will enjoy due to the satisfactory financial stability, social security and peaceful occupation. The government will bring out new projects for the welfare of the people. This period will give a solace for the iron and steel industry. The food industry, the real estate, the fashion design industry will get a fresh breath of air during this course of time. From March to may end of 2010, the government may face a little difficulty. I predict that the year 2010 will be good for the country. 

The present movement of the planets is not sufficiently good for the world. The natural calamities, economic recession, health problems, epidemics, the rise of hostiles are the outcome of the unusual movement of the planets. However, as far as the US is concerned, the Leo sign indicates that she will remain as the leader of the world despite the various animosities. The special power granted from the Almighty to the new president will intensely work for the prosperity and the security of the country.

The prediction for the country is that, by and large, a satisfactory growth will be achieved during the tenure of the president. The president and his cabinet should take care of their health. The Vedic Yagnas will have to be conducted to provide strength and power for the government to execute its duty.
