Varshphal or Annual Horoscope

Known in the west as a solar return, Varshphal or Annual Horoscope offer rules for reading annual charts in Hindu astrology. Sumeet Chugh says to set the varshphal chart for the birth place, not the place of residence. The Varsha-dasa, one year in length, is a method of timing events indicated in the annual chart. The Muntha is the progressed ascendant of the natal chart (at the rate of one sign/year) & is placed in the annual chart.

Based on an elaborate study of ancient texts in Hindi, Urdu and Sanskrit, the book offers a broad view of the Varshaphal or the annual horoscope, which can be used for prediction of historical and political happenings and developments. Sumeet Chugh, a Chartered Accountant by profession, trained under his guru Shri Lachhman Das Madan, editor of the astrological journal, 'The Babaji'. Chugh has contributed articles to several astrological journals in India, and has ten books to his credit.
