"Gopi bhagya madhuvrata srngiso dadhi sandhiga khala jivita khatava gala hala rasandara" Translation: O Lord anointed with the yogurt of the milkmaids' worship (Krishna), O savior of the fallen, O master of Shiva, please protect me. Is that a prayer to Krishna or a consonant code for the solution of pi/10 = 0.31415926535897932384626433832792? Or both? Vedic mathematics is composed of sutras, which have been formulated over many centuries, some of which have been lost over the centuries due to neglect. With the dedicated efforts of a few enthusiasts it is being revived to its previous glory. The pioneer in this field was Jagadguru Swami Sri Bharati Krishna Tirthaji Maharaja, who compiled sixteen sutras and unleashed this wonderful science to the world.
