Vedic Myth, Ritual and Philosophy

The Vedas command an unquestioned authority over hindu mind from time immemorial. The Vedas have influenced Hindu religion, culture and philosophy to such an extent that each and every doctrinal aspect of Hindu life is considered to have its origin in the Vedas. In this book the author have tried to present a historical study of vedic interpretation confines ourselves to the study of these various parts of the vedic literature as some interpretation of the vedic Samhita. But this study is first directed towards tracing the background of a certain interpretations of the Vedas. The author observed the vedic myth, rituals and philosophy as interpreted by Madhvacarya--the founder of Dvaita School of Vedanta.
