RISHI KRISHI PADATHI - ANCIENT VEDIC FARMING SCIENCE

With the advent of the modern organic revolution in various forms be it Biodynamic farming, permaculture or Fukuoka farming, few people have noticed that India has the most ancient agricultural science which was tried and tested for thousands of years. Parashara as well as other Rishis gave beautiful texts on the subjects which went into the utmost detail to explain how to farm in total harmony with nature with no disease of crops and good yield. The basis of Rishi Krishi is to understand soil immunity and that plants get their energy from cosmic sources (sun, moon and stars etc.). There are many misconceptions about farming that formulate modern agriculture and these misconceptions are grossly wrong and the reason why soil immunity has been totally depleted by chemical farming methods. Rishi Krishi is a zero budget farming method that has been engineered by Rishis as a immeasurable boon for all humanity. When we discovered this book at an organic fair it was immediately making sense and written in the straightforward way of Mohan Deshpande (the author) we were immediately excited to try our own Rishi Krishi project which we will be doing shortly to feed all our Vedic Book helper team.  SWAMI SATYANANDA SARASWATI - A TRIBUTE

The founder of the Bihar School of Yoga was not just a yoga master but a true realized Saint in his own life and a master in all aspects of human life. Swami Satyananda left his body on 5th of December 2009 in his ashram in India after a life filled with grace and accomplishment. We are happy to offer his books and may all sincere students of yogic science go deeper into their Self to cross the ocean of ignorance and find that which is unending and immortal within.
