Quantity:

Kadampa Buddhism is becoming increasingly popular as a clear and practical spiritual path for the contemporary practitioner. Originating with the special presentation of Mahayana Buddhism by the great Buddhist masters Atisha and Je Tsongkhapa, Kadampa Buddhism makes the path to enlightenment accessible to the modern world and explains clearly how to transform our lives into the spiritual path. Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, a meditation master of this living tradition, explains two essential spiritual practices.

The first is a special meditation practice in conjunction with Je Tsongkhapa, through which we can receive blessings and gain the realizations of the path to enlightenment.

The second is meditation on the Buddha of Wisdom in the aspect of a Dharma Protector, whereby we gain the necessary internal strength to overcome all obstacles to our spiritual practice.

"In Heart Jewel Geshe Kelsang presents two essential practices of Kadampa Buddhism, the popular Mahayana Buddhist tradition that derives from the renowned Tibetan teacher Je Tsongkhapa. The first practice is relying upon a spiritual guide, which lays the foundation for gaining all the blessings and realizations of the paths to liberation and enlightenment. The second practice is relying upon an enlightened Dharma protector, whereby we can swiftly overcome all obstacles to our spiritual practice and create favourable conditions for developing and increasing pure Dharma realizations. An invaluable introduction to the profound and dynamic tradition of Kadampa Buddhism."

TESTIMONIALS

It has given me great pleasure browsing through your netsite and choosing some wonderful Sanskrit books. It is a sad state of affairs that most book stores do not keep such Sanskrit books, the greatest disappointment was that even Crossword does not. That made placing the order on the net and receiving books hassle free and in good time from you even more encouraging. Thank you and God bless...
