In Indian Culture: Why do we

by Swami Vimalananda and Radhika Krishnakumar

Average Customer Rating ( Read Reviews | Write a Review )
$15.99 $11.99

Quantity:

Indian culture is admired and respected all over the world for its beauty and depth.  This book features in simple terms, the various aspects of both beauty and depth in this culture.  Almost every Indian custom and tradition has either a scientific, logical, historical, social or spiritual significance.

Understanding this lends meaning to an otherwise mechanical following of the customs which are often misunderstood to be mere superstitions that fade away in time.

Customer Reviews of In Indian Culture: Why do we
Review by Anjana Mohan: Sunday 06 January, 2008
An excellent book, and a pocket size reference guide with a wealth of information. I treasure this book and wouldn't part with it. It not only provides NON-dogmatic explanations, it provides underlying meanings that can help keep culture alive and interesting. Understanding traditions can make them far more fulfilling.

It has enriched my life, my religion and my worship in many ways and it is very important piece of work to help Hindu culture survive and sustain itself.
