This book illustrates the practical aspects of timing events through Vimshottari dasa, transits, Yogini dasa & the annual chart. It also covers the chalit chakra & divisional charts.

In the preface is this curious statement: During these days [1996] many Pseudo-astrologers with little or no knowledge of vedic astrology have been coming out with trash as research papers. These astrologers never tire of self praise praising their own books as the best in the last 300 or 400 years. Nothing can be more shameful than this. These books contain hardly any actual Vedic astrology & is full of catchy slogans, memory shortcut tables etc. All these are doing great harm to the cause of astrology.... This appears to apply to an author whose books are featured on this site, but in the case that Chugh had someone else in mind, I will not mention names here.

Sumeet Chugh, a Chartered Accountant by profession, trained under his guru Shri Lachhman Das Madan, editor of the astrological journal, 'The Babaji'. Chugh has contributed articles to several astrological journals in India, and has ten books to his credit.
