It is an unparalleled work on principles of astrological yogas (combinations). The poetry in Hindi is simply superb and beauty of commentary by U K Jha is beyond description. He has explained the basic astrological principles behind formulation of these yogas in such a lucid and logical style that the tough topic of Yoga in astrology has become most interesting and attractively comprehensible. Readers after reading this book in full and grasping those pristine principles can themselves start formulating yoga in astrology.
I had never thought that astrological yogas can be understood like this though I have read many books on this topic by several authors. After going through this book all other books on yoga appear to be juiceless jabber of words.
None can match the expertise, depth and dexterity displayed by Jha in this commentary. I would not only appeal to the students to read this book as a must but would also entreat astrologers teaching astrology to read it and understand what astrology really is. Perhaps by doing this they would be more helpful to their students; may be in more effective manner.
The only drawback of this book is that Jha has written commentary in a very chaste English that creates problem for students with limited vocabulary and restricted composition. However; this does not belittle the excellence of the topics dissertated therein becuae this book is undoubtedly on top in the list of all the books on astrological yogas.
