This book, the first volume in the series Love Is My Form, covers the first 25 years in the life of Sri Sathya Sai Baba, renowned world teacher from India. It follows Sai Baba as Sathya and then as Raju, through his trials and tribulations as a schoolboy to his declaration that he was `Sai Baba,` the Saint of Shirdi, reborn.Subsequent volumes will chronicle the decades after the establishment of this pilgrimage centre and the gradual unfolding of a glorious and unique life.Through recorded facts and events, interviews of contemporaries, maps, documents, illustrations, photographs and letters, the biographical series Love Is My Form, aims to document for posterity the Life, the Works and the Teachings of this extraordinary person.
PADMANABAN was Baba`s personal photographer from 1985 to 1990. The present volume is his third book--he has authored Prasanthi Guide (1995, second edition 1999) and compiled and edited Cricket for Love (1997).A man of varied interests, he has since founded the Sri Sathya Sai Towers in 1990, of which he is the Managing Director. He began by distributing and then by publishing books on spiritual topics. He is a recipient of four major business awards from prestigious New Delhi-based organisations.
