Kelsang Gyatso is a Buddhist monk, Gelug teacher, scholar, and author of 21 Buddhist books based on the teachings of the Gelug school Geshe Kelsang has established more than 1000 Buddhist Centres and groups around the world and founded the New Kadampa Tradition in 1991. He is also the author of 22 books on Buddhism, including classics such as Heart of Wisdom and Universal Compassion.
