Brhadaranyaka Upanisad

Brhadaranyaka Upanisad--the brief commentary of the Vajasaneyi Brahma Upanisad, is composed for the sake of those who wish to liberate themselves from the world, in order that they may acquire the knowledge, that Brahman and the soul are the same. The principal topics of the Brhadaranyaka Upanisad are--Ritualistico-philosophical description of the cosmos, poetico-physiological description of the self, the eye and the head, the atmanism and solipism of Yajnavalkya, reciprocal dependence of all things etc. The work contains some parables and accounts of philosophical discussions.
