A simple interactive presentation, using more than 200 visuals, some animation, video and audio clips. History of India is the story of India's past, about its people and how they lived. It covers the Indian history from the magnificent Indus valley civilization of 2500 BC, right through the centuries, covering thr triumph of the freedom struggle, coming upto the present era. All the important personalities and events that gave shape and colour to the Indian history are discussed in vivid details.

This History of India (a text of over 50,000 words) is divided into seven modules or sections. Each module is further divided into 4 to 5 sub-section. All the heads and sub-heads are interactive, giving the viewer the choice of topic selection at every level. All the modules are illustrated with photographs, illustrations or maps. With one click, the picture can be enlarged to cover the entire screen-with the caption explaining the visual. The highlighted (in Red) words of the text lead to the Glossary, where more information is provided about them.
