This work presents the view of the cosmos as enunciated by thr rishis, or seer-scientists, several millennia ago and articulated in the Vedas. Its content concerns the subtlety, complexity, continuity and fluidity of the cosmos. The 'indescribable' phenomena of the cosmos can best be captured as a matrix, hence the title The Cosmic Matrix. This work does not deal with cosmology, neither in terms of the speculations of modern science nor of mythology and fable, but rather it presents a coherent, internally consistent view of the cosmos. The Cosmic Matrix is an expression of the author's life-long quest and mission to unearth the ancient study of the greatest mystery of all--the secrets of existence and of our universe. The Cosmic Matrix allows us to penetrate those secrets a little more deeply and to explore the ways in which the rishis discovered cosmic principles and validated them through rigorous experimentation.
