From the begning of history, religion has been admittedly the most vital force in shaping the human civilisation at various developmental stages. India has been the home of religions and diverse schools of philosophical thought from time immemorial. As the great thinker, Havelock Ellis, said, "Religion grows in India as wild flowers in the forest". All religions aim at giving solace and peace to mind and become a boon to their followers. Through a disciplined mind and body and the golden rule of moderation, all religions, in essence, teach us to be good dutiful, law abiding and humane. The present volumes may meet this long-felt need of the present day man.
Suresh K.Sharma an alumnus of delhi Iniversity, opted for the liberary profession after obtaining post-graduation in Modern Indian History and Batchlor of Library Science in the early seventies. Documentation, bibliography and indexing have been his special forte. He has to his credit a number of publications on Indian history and other subjects in the form of reference material.Usha Sharma after obtaining post-graduation in Englishliterature from Punjab University opted for the teaching profession in 1976. She has a long teaching experience and has attended many educational seminars and workshops.
