Indian civilization is much older than hitherto it has been considered to be. The present book proposes to furnish the educated public with materials warranting a revision of the ideas so far entertained by them with regards to the antiquity of Indian civilization. The subject has been broadly divided under three different headings viz,Phallism and the spread of Indian Culture, Gipsies and the spread of Indian Culture and its Antiquity.
Bhudeb Mookerji (1885-1938) was an MA in English, Philosophy & Commerce and Rasacharya (Ayurvedic Physician). An eminent scholar of Sanskrit, he taught in the post - graduate Department of Commerce at Calcutta University from 1922 -1925. President of the Institute of Hindu Chemistry during the twenties of the last century,Mookerji relentlessly worked for establishing and promoting the antiquityand efficacy of Indian Chemistry.
