About the Author:

The author was born in 1949 to parents of Indian origin in the district Nickerie of Suriname in South America. Dr. C. Baidjnath Misier is a self-made man, first as a teacher and later as a businessman and banker in the Netherlands. He has devoted more than half of his lifetime, however, to meditation. His devotion to reading and his search for knowledge has enabled him to ascend to a high level of spirituality, from which he writes persuasively and authoritatively on religion and spirituality.

He is the author of many articles, brochures and books and has lectured at various institutions of higher education. One of his books: ‘HOY, Offers & Yoga’, has been described as unique in presenting a comparative treatment of religions in a manner that is clear to the reader. Convinced that people need the right knowledge on the right place and on the right time to survive, the author has made it one of his objectives to disseminate this knowledge to individuals, functional groups, students and universities.
