V. Srinivasan is the managing director and chief executive officer of 3i Infotech Ltd, a global technology company with about 2500 employees. He is responsible for the company’s spectacular expansion from its inception to the current levels. A graduate in mathematics from Madras University, Srinivasan joined the ICICI group, the second largest banking group in India, in 1980. He has had varied exposure in areas such as client relationship, project finance, rehabilitation, systems and procedures, and accounts.
