Are Holen (born 1945) become involved in yoga and breathing practices at the age of 16. At 17, he learnt to meditate and he has been practicing ever since. His teaching of yoga and meditation has yielded valuable experiences to innumerable fellow yoga students. In Norway in 1966, he founded Acem School of Meditation, today an international organization. In 1968, he founded Acem School of Yoga.

 

Torbjorn Hobbel (born 1951) has been practicing meditation and yoga since 1967. In 1975, he became an Acem Meditation initiator. In 1998, he founded Acem India. He is an adviser to Acem School of Yoga. He regularly, conducts courses and retreats in Europe of Asia.
