Navya-Nyaya Theory of verbal Cognition, the Vyutpattivada; is the single most important treatise of Gadadhara Bhattacharya on Sabda, in general and on sentence meaning in particular. About the Author:

DR. V.P. BHATTA is presently working as an Editor, Sanskrit Dictionary, Deccan College, Pune. Bhavanaviveka and Theory of Expressive Power of Words, Saktivada; and is presently working on Sabdakhanda of Gangesa's Tattavacintamani.
