In the present volume the most excellent representatives of the discipline, nurtured on Csoma de Koros achievement, publish their latest results, paying homage to the memory of this outstanding scholar. The 46 studies of scholars from 17 countries cover the problems of almost all fields of Tibetan studies and related branches.The articles published in this book deals mainly with the Buddhist philosophy (Tibetan and Tangut). Some articles examine historical events, problems of Tibetan and Central Asian chronology and questions concerning the statehood and law of Tibet and some other Asian countries, too. Some of the studies deal with geographical topics, discussing analyses of river-names and toponyms. This rich collection also contains articles on Tibetan grammar, Tibetan therapeutics and Tibetan music. The sources presented in the volume are written, besides Tibetan, in the Sanskrit, Chinese, Mongolian, Tangut, Uighur, and Saka languages.
