The volume contains twelve chapters having deep bearing on the socio-economic and political ideology of Motilal Nehru and Jawaharlal Nehru. The plitical ideology of Dominition Status was challenged by young Nehru and he emphatically declared complete independence as the goal for swaraj. It is quite evident that the coming two decades were quite hectic in the long-dran political struggle.
The twelve chapters have been weaved in a comprehensive way. It led to the mass movement after the Lahore Congress. Indeed the participants were from all regions of India and they sacrificed their precious lot in jails. Undoubtedly the masses remained non-violent as per the direction of Mahatma Gandhi. People felt satisfaction regarding their path chosen by them. It was indeed a complex problem to launch to mass movement against the Raj.
