About the Author: Vaidya Suresh Chaturvedi is a leading practitioner of Ayurveda from Rajasthan, India. He is a professor at Bombay University and has written many books on Ayurveda. In 2000, he was awarded the Padma Shri.. He is the Honorary physician to the Governor of Maharashtra and one of the senior most physicians at Bombay Hospital. Dr. Chaturvedi has participated in various international conferences on Ayurved and Traditional System of Medicines. His pioneering work in the field of Ayurved and the promotion of Indian Medicine has been aptly recognized, and he has been awarded the Bharat Nirman Pracharya Award and Fellow of National Academy of Ayurved.
