As a Western-born soul, I have awaken to the futility of empirical, materialistic, godless approaches to doing ANYTHING. Naturally, upon being woken from my deep slumber in Maya's lap, I wanted to know what the Vedas had to say about farming and growing food.
This book is a nice start and I'm grateful for the author who is pioneering this important field of knowledge, reviving it from antiquity. When I was in South India in 2011, it was so ironic to see the locals, especially the younger generations, practically worshiping the West. How silly they looked to me!
This book is VERY unorganized. It jumps from one subject to a completely other in a matter of sentences. It's compiled of many case studies wherein the author is bolstering his arguments against the forces of godless agricultural forces, represented by the West.
I would like to think that subsequent books on the subject will be more organized.
