Tales from the Puranas

The Puranas are the invaluable heritage of the Hindu faith which have gone to form our psyche and morals. Right from our birth to our death all our rituals, ceremonies and the 'Sanskaras' have been based on the teachings we have received from the ancient tomes. These incorporate knowledge, education as well as enlightenment and entertainment in a judicious manner. However, the Puranas are so huge tomes that reading them is quite difficult, if not impossible. In order to help the curious readers derive their essence, the present book in the form of 'Tales from the Puranas' has been prepared - which contains various educations and moral stories culled from these Puranas.
