The Ultimate Repose

“Ahameva param brahma vasudevskyam avyakyam” ( I am indeed the Supreme, Brahman, Imperishable, Vasudeva)- with this breathtaking declaration begins Brahmanucintanam,  a work by Bhagavan Adisankara Swamiji gave a series of talks of this series in Hong King while he was there on a lecture tour in the year 1987.

These have been compiled and brought uout in this form the “ Ultimate Repose”. Swamiji, using these verses, brings up almost all the concepts of Vedanta and makes them easily comprehensible to the reader.

These verses are highly suited to be taken up for contemplation by the earnest seeker.
 
Swami Suddhananda’s teaching is based on vedantic tradition of self enquiry which is relevant to man even today. The vision reveals the truth of Man, Creation and God.
