The Balvihar Book of Gurudev's Tales

Gurudev's tales were often the highlight of his talks.  He always said that Vedantic truths were high and subtle and therefore not within the grasp of all tales to drive home a truth. "None of these stories that are attributed to me are really mine. 

They are stories that old Mahatmas told us while we were learning at the feet of the Masters in utterkashi and Rishikesh", he said. Retelling these stories for children with profuse colour illustration is our tribute to this master story - teller, in this, the 50th year of the Chinmaya Movement.
