In this volume, occasioned by the passing of an outstanding scholar and a disciple of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother, Prof. V. Madhusudan Reddy, the editors have brought together various essays by acclaimed critics and exponents to take a look at the contemporary relevance of Sri Aurobindo's thought.

The essays are on many strands of Sri Aurobindo's thoughts, arranged together in Part I of the book thematically according to Sri Aurobindo's major works such as The Life Divine, The Synthesis of Yoga, The Future Poetry, Savitri, etc.
