Helena and Roland Olson first encountered the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in 1959 during their first visit to the United States. Maharishi resided at their Los Angeles home for more than three months, making it his base of operations. The present book is a commemorative reprint of the Olson's 1967 original, with a new preface and eight appendixes added by Theresa Olson, their youngest daughter, who was ten years old when she met the Maharishi in 1959.
