Nadi pariksa of Ayurveda is one of the fascinating subject. A lot of 'AURA' is spread-over it in the Form of Tamil claims about its utility in-Diagnosis, prognosis and predictions of Ayu or life span etc., these I felt needed further-Expiration of the subject matter. Therefore a systemic search for further improvement of this Ancient pulse study began way back in 1990 by gathering the available information right from Sarangadhara Samhita to the latest Japanese Research Paper by Kazuo Kadoma et al (1991), who made rich contributions to the subject. The essence of all these are incorporated in to this monograph, so as to make the Nadi pariksa really relevant and useful to the present day Doctors, Researchers, Scholars and students.

Dr.S.Suresh Babu,M.D.(Ayu.) is a well-Known figure, who won many prizes international level and awards at State Level.Recently he has been honored with Best Teacher Award for the year 2002 by the Chief Minister of A.P. at a function held on 05-09-2002.He is a renowned writer and practitioner of Ayurveda.  He has been teaching and writing for the cause of Ayurveda formore than two Decades. Owing to a rare combination of Innovation and sound practicality, he continues to be a much sought after Doctor, writer and teacher in the Ayurvedic world.
