Happiness is natural. It is independent of circumstances and situations in life. One can discover this for oneself. For this all that one has to do is to remove the obstructions to the perception of truth. This is the core of Sri Ramana Maharshi's teachings. He has also given the means, an infallible means, self-enquiry, for becoming aware of and abiding in this state of natural happiness. Practically every single word of the Maharshi's spiritual ministration had been preserved for posterity except for the period from 1940 to 1944, during which apparently no record was kept. The talks recorded in this book, now available to us, cover this crucial period, thereby bridging the vital gap. One finds nearly the whole range of spiritual doubts covered in the questions asked by seekers and the answers given by the Maharshi. Table of Contents: - Preface
