About the Author:

Dr. K. Rama Chandra Reddy is well known for his valuable contributions in the field of Ayurveda, pertaining to Bhaisajya Kaipana. During the last 7 years he has written on various aspects of Rasastra and Bhaisajya Kalpana—literary as well as scientific, conceptual as well as practical aspects of Ayurvedic drug manufacturing. Born in small town Kavali in Nellore dist. (Andhra Pradesh), in the family of traditional farmer, he gradu¬ally acquired highest degree in Ayurveda pertaining to Rasastra and Bhaisajya Kalpana. He is appointed as a Head for the dept. of Rasastra and Bhaisajya Kalpana in S.D.M. College of Ayurveda, Hassan (Karnataka). Elected as joint secretary for Akhil Bhartiya Rasa Bhaishajya Parishad (ABRBP) formed in B.H.Q.U. 1997.

At present he is in the post of Lecturer and Manager for pharmacy, Dept. of Rasasastra, National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur. Dr. K. Rama Chandra Reddy has been participating in different national conferences related to Rasastra and Bhaisajya Kalpana.
